Hi, I'm Jon. I appreciate there is a lot to think about when choosing a Counsellor so thank-you for taking the time to consider what I'm able to offer and support you with.
I am a qualified Counsellor through the CPCAB and an accredited registrant member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
I became a counsellor following years of experiences where I struggled to understand and find my place in the world. I learned through my training that something I was missing was someone just to see and hear me for who I am.
My desire to help people has been strong throughout my life and through my work I hope to be able to offer people something I've felt was missing for me personally.

I don't pretend to be anything but myself within my work. This aspect gives me the skills to meet people where they are, offering a safe, calm and non-judgemental environment.
I am experienced in working with adults and young people from 13 - 68 years old.

The core of my approach is person-centred, meaning our work together is focused on your individual needs. Working from an integrative approach, I tailor sessions to suit you, drawing on your present situation as well as your past experiences and future goals. This allows us to work collaboratively at a pace you’re comfortable with, while supporting your emotional wellbeing and mental health.
My practice offers a confidential, calm and supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore whatever you need to. I listen without judgement to help you develop greater self-understanding, confidence and self-worth.
I believe that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. Life can feel chaotic at times, and the right path is not always clear.
Finding a space where you feel heard and understood can be an important first step.
If you are looking for a space to explore what is going on in your life, or simply need a space to be, I am here to listen and support you as you find your way forward.
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship, built on trust, respect and understanding, is central to our work together. It provides a consistent and supportive foundation where you can explore at your own pace.
Alongside my counselling training, I bring 20 years of experience in a high-pressure sales environment, This has given me a clear understanding of the impact this can have on emotional wellbeing. This has given me a strong appreciation of the importance of balance and support for both mental and physical health.
By looking for support, you have already begun the process. If you have read this far, I encourage you to take the next step and get in touch to see how we might work together. If you are looking to make sense of something in your life, or simply need a space to talk, please feel free to reach out when you feel ready. We can then begin this process together.
